Cars and Coffee at Santana Row

Today Kenga and Colette were at work, so ...

dad took me on a daddy-daughter date to Cars and Coffee at Santana Row here in the Bay Area. We love this event. We have been a few times before, but this was the first time I got to go with just dad.
Some info on the venue: For those who have never been or who arent around here, Santana Row is an upscale outdoor mall (ish) area. It has lots of nice stores and restaurants (including one of the countries first Amazon Books retail stores!) Almost all the restaurants have outdoor patios, making it an awesome place for pups to go have have nice leisurely meals with their humans. Also, many of the stores keep water bowls our in front of their doors for puppers, which makes walking around on hot days soo much nicer. It's a very friendly pup place!

Dad and I got there right when it started (9AM) and it wasnt very full yet. Not too many people or cars. But that ok, because I can get a little wound up when I get to new places, so this way I got to be a little crazy first. As we walked around the spots began to fill in with what dad tells me were very nice cars. I'm not so sure though, because they all only has two seats - where then do the doggos sit? I like dad's big SUV because it fits all four of us (my Kenga Mom and Dad) plus lots of gear for adventures!

We made it to the far side and dad finally finished his coffee, which meant he had a free hand for pictures! So obviously, he began snapping pics of his baby girl in front of some glamorous cars.

This was a baby blue Ferrari California T with cream leather interior. Dad said this was a great car for mom. Plus it's a convertible, so I can ride shotgun with the top down for some awesome wind-in-the-fur action!

This is one dad wants, a Porsche Caymam GT4. He told me it was yellow but... dogs dont see color well so I'll have to take his word for it.

We walked around in the main area for a while, which for those familiar with Santana Row is is the south side at the fountain, right next to Vintage Wine Bar. We got to meet lots of friendly people who seemed to like me a lot! There were so excited to see a husky and to say hi to me. Dad even got to tell some fellow dog owners about one of my sponsors - Geopetric (www.geopetric.com). They are who supplied my collar and awesome bandanna that you'll see in the pics.

After hanging out there for a little while, we were about to leave when the most adorable little Samoyed came over to say hi! He was 6.5 years old and his name was Samson. He told me he is big instagram star with over 20,000 followers! It was pretty cool meeting a dog celebrity.

Here was a good shot dad got of me giving Samson my paw to say "Hello".

We hung out with Samson for a few mins. If you want to see more of the pics/videos or of Samson, check out my Instagram and or Samson's Instagram, they will be there.

After lots of head-smacks and pictures, dad and I kept moving along to see the rest of the cars.

All in all, the event was a blast, and I HIGHLY recommend anyone in the area for the next one attend. You'll see some awesome cars, meet some cool people, and maybe see us!
